Classroom Programs:

We invite anyone who is enthusiastic about the outdoors to participate in our new outdoor leadership program classroom series. We offer classes in the following:

• Outdoor Safety and Survival
• Outdoor Health
• Mountain Weather                                                   
• Navigation and Route Selection
• Clothing Considerations for the Outdoor Environment

Each two-hour class will take place local to its participants. Please contact us for dates, times, and locations. These classes will prepare you to participate in our multi-skills package programs, where you will focus on leadership skills in an exciting outdoor environment.

Fall/Winter One-Day Courses:

Fall Ropes Peer Leadership Course
Participants focus on peer leadership while learning rope craft, rappelling, top-roped rock climbing, and organizational skills at Donner Peak. Saturday, Oct 24, 2009 **CLOSED FOR ENROLLMENT**

Winter Orienteering Peer Leadership Course
Participants learn peer leadership and organization through orienteering, compass and map skills, and  snow shoeing.

Winter/Spring Two-Day Courses:

Winter Snow Camping Team Leadership Course
Participants learn leadership and organizational skills while snow shoeing and orienteering at Castle Peak, in the Sierra Nevada.
February 6 and 7, 2010

Spring North Coast Kayaking / Snorkeling Team Leadership Course
Participants learn leadership and organizational skills while kayaking and snorkeling on California's North Coast.
May 22 and 23, 2010

Summer Multi-skills Packages:

Sierra Backpacking and Orienteering
3-day/2-night skills package. Participants learn leadership and team building skills through orienteering, route selection, map and compass skills in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
